Analytica Chimica Acta, Elsevier
Analytica Chimica Acta provides a forum for the rapid publication of original research, and critical reviews dealing with all aspects of fundamental and applied modern analytical science. The journal welcomes the submission of research papers which report studies concerning the development of new and significant analytical methodologies. In determining the suitability of submitted articles for publication, particular scrutiny will be placed on the degree of novelty and significance of the research and the extent to which it adds to existing knowledge in analytical chemistry.
Original research papers on fundamental studies and novel instrumentation development are especially encouraged. The latter include physical, inorganic and organic chemistry measurement instrumentations that are unique, and chemical sensors. New electronic developments are welcome. Novel applications in areas such as clinical chemistry, environmental analysis, geochemistry and materials science and engineering, etc. are welcome. Since classical spectrophotometric measurements and applications, solvent extraction, titrimetry, etc. are well established, studies in such areas should demonstrate a unique and substantial advantage over presently known systems. Solvent extraction methods in particular, but others as well, should focus on the use of non-hazardous material substitutes and the minimization of waste generation. Studies with new reagents or systems should be as comprehensive as possible, rather than a series of similar papers for several elements or compounds. Contributions will be expected to be of the high standard set and maintained by Talanta and to make a definite and useful contribution to analytical chemistry.
Journal of Chemometrics, Wiley
The Journal of Chemometrics is devoted to the rapid publication of original scientific papers, reviews and short communications on fundamental and applied aspects of chemometrics. It also provides a forum for the exchange of information on meetings and other news relevant to the growing community of scientists who are interested in chemometrics and its applications. Short, critical review papers are a particularly important feature of the journal, in view of the multidisciplinary readership at which it is aimed.

Journal of Machine Learning Research, MIT-Press
The Journal of Machine Learning Research (JMLR) provides an international forum for the electronic and paper publication
of high-quality scholarly articles in all areas of machine learning.
JMLR has a commitment to rigorous yet rapid reviewing. Final versions are published electronically (ISSN 1533-7928)
immediately upon receipt. Until the end of 2004, paper volumes (ISSN 1532-4435) were published 8 times annually and
sold to libraries and individuals by the MIT Press.
JMLR seeks previously unpublished papers that contain: new algorithms with empirical, theoretical, psychological, or biological justification, experimental and/or theoretical studies yielding new insight into the design and behavior of learning in intelligent systems, accounts of applications of existing techniques that shed light on the strengths and weaknesses of the methods, formalization of new learning tasks (e.g., in the context of new applications) and of methods for assessing performance on those tasks, development of new analytical frameworks that advance theoretical studies of practical learning methods, computational models of data from natural learning systems at the behavioral or neural level, or extremely well-written surveys of existing work.
Journal of Multivariate Analysis, Elsevier
A central medium for the publication of important research in the general area of multivariate analysis, the
Journal of Multivariate Analysis presents articles on fundamental theoretical aspects of the field as well as on other
aspects concerned with significant applications of new theoretical methods. Although articles addressing univariate
analysis are considered for publication, particular attention is given to papers that discuss problems concerned with
more than one variable.
In addition to helping to stimulate research in multivariate analysis, the journal aims to bring about interactions among mathematical statisticians, probabilists, and scientists in other disciplines broadly interested in the area.
Research areas include: asymptotic theory, Bayes models, cluster analysis, decision theory, discriminant analysis, distributions and tests, estimation, factor analysis, limit laws, measures of association, multidimensional scaling and general multivariate methods, multivariate ANOVA, sequential analysis, stochastic analysis and inference, testing of hypothesis, time series.

TEST (A Journal of the Spanish Statistical Society)
TEST is an international journal of Statistics and Probability which is published in English by SEIO (the Spanish Society of Statistics and Operations Research). The journal is a transformation of Trabajos de Estadistica which, founded by Professor Sixto Rios, was published 1950 to 1991.
The emphasis of TEST is placed on papers containing original theoretical contributions of direct or potential value in applications.
A volume of about 500 pages is published annually usually in two issues. In addition to the regular contributions, it is a policy for the journal that each issue contains an invited paper from a world-wide recognized outstanding statistician on an up-to-date challenging topic, including discussions.
